Whole Foods Market

I always love shopping here. Always clean, the staff is overall friendly, and they carry pretty much every common and uncommon item imaginable. Prices are in line with most co-ops. They even have a water station for filling up my 5 gallon jugs.. with (IMO) the cleanest, most drinkable water of anyone around. Not a single knock on the place except the parking lot isn't the biggest/best designed.

A bit different from your local grocery store, lots of health food options and brands that you won't find at Cub. That's to say don't use whole foods as a backup if cub doesn't have what you need (unless you're looking for produce or meat). However, they have a great selection of food, so if you're healthy food shopping this is your place. Additionally, you can return Amazon purchases here at the service desk but they also have a self-serve kiosk to make your return (you have to initiate the return in the app first)

Thankfully, they have changed some of the staff, but this spot is so bland and pretentious. No one smiles or makes you feel welcomed. And, you cross over to trader Joe's, and you feel like it's a family... such a weird whole foods. I even went to the one in hennepin, and it was different. I mostly have bad experiences with the staff except for once or twice. And I go at least once in 3 weeks.

I personally love this Whole Foods location. In my mind, it’s second only to the Minnetonka location. Sometimes you get young people who don’t really have the time of day to make conversation with you, or are just really tired of customers who don’t have the time of day to talk with them…but I’ve met quite a few young people here that I look forward to seeing every time I visit this store. Most of the time though, your experience with a cashier is going to reflect how you are treating them - are you genuinely interested in making conversation with them, human to human? Or are you treating them like they’re a robot who’s supposed to ring up your order and get you out of there? Be kind to these employees - you’ll be surprised at how much more pleasant this makes your experiences!

Who ever is managing this branch should maintain the standard set up by Whole Food chain. by making sure there is microwave oven placed at eating area to enable heating food before eating. I was there for lunch on the 28/11/23 and only got to know that there was no microwave oven just after paying for food for lunch including cold smoked salmon I had planned for my lunch, unlike other Whole Food branches. And i asked the supervisor about how there was no microwave ovens as compared to every Whole Food outlet I have been to in five different states as I am touring around the country. The supervisor told me that he removed the microwave because of COVID . Meanwhile the ladle that is used to pick the food has direct contact with every person and it is used by everyone customer around the kitchen area, so why do you target microwave oven that benefits customers after paying for the food or after you receiving the customer’s money and you then relate it to COVID? That is not customer care. I was shocked because I have so much respect for Whole Food and the varieties it offers. Because this is just after paying for the food, so there was no option to walk away or stop buying the food and I am a tourist so just imagine. I got sick the whole night after eating that cold smoke salmon. You will agree with me that Minnesota is a very cold weather conditioned state and so keeping food warm before eating is essential for our health.
